0% business funding

How much business funding can I get?

Funding through Paolo The Source runs from $50,000 to $250,000. The review shows how much your profile can support today and what it would take to grow that number. The lender or issuer sets the final limit.

What's the difference between 0% funding and revenue-based funding?

0% business funding is $50,000 to $250,000 at 0% interest for the first 12 to 18 months, in the business name. It's built on your credit profile and needs an LLC. Revenue-based funding is one application to a network of vetted lenders for term loans, lines of credit and revenue-based financing up to $250,000. It's built on your revenue, deposits and business performance, and fits businesses doing roughly $10,000 a month or more.

Is it really 0% interest?

Yes, for an introductory period: the first 12 to 18 months, depending on the lender or issuer. That period is set by the issuer, and interest may apply after it ends.

Will checking what I qualify for hurt my credit?

No. There's no hard inquiry to see what you qualify for, and the check takes about five minutes.

Do I need an LLC?

Yes. The funding is in the business name, so the business needs to be an LLC. If you don't have one yet, LLC and EIN setup comes first.

Is there a personal guarantee?

No. The funding is in the business name, with no personal guarantee.

Revenue-based funding

What is revenue-based funding?

Financing sized to a business's revenue rather than its credit alone. Through Paolo The Source it's one of three options in the lender network, alongside term loans and lines of credit, for up to $250,000.

How much revenue does my business need?

The lender network is the best fit for businesses doing roughly $10,000 a month or more.

Does pre-qualifying hurt my credit?

No. There's no hard pull to pre-qualify.

Is there an upfront fee?

No. There's no upfront fee to apply through the network.

Who makes the lending decision?

The lenders. Each lender in the network makes its own approval decision and sets its own amounts and terms.

MCA consolidation and refinancing

What is MCA consolidation?

Combining several open merchant cash advances into one position, so the business makes one payment instead of several. Whether it fits depends on your open positions and total balance.

What's the difference between consolidating and refinancing an MCA?

Consolidating combines several advances into one. Refinancing replaces an advance with new funding on different terms. On the call we look at your positions and show you which, if either, makes sense.

Can you help with new MCA funding?

Yes, when the terms make sense for the business. New MCA funding is one of the options we look at.

What should I bring to the call?

A list of your open advances, their payment schedules and what's left on each. Rough numbers are fine.

Business credit

What is business credit?

A credit profile that belongs to your business, reported under its EIN to the business credit bureaus. It lets the business borrow on its own.

What do I need to start building business credit?

An LLC and an EIN. If you don't have them yet, LLC and EIN setup comes first.

What are business tradelines?

Accounts in the business name that report to the business credit bureaus. They're how a business credit profile gets built.

Is there a free way to learn this?

Yes. The free business credit course walks through it start to finish.

LLC and EIN setup

Why do I need an LLC for business funding?

The 0% funding is in the business name, so the business has to exist as an entity first. An LLC is the requirement.

What is an EIN?

An Employer Identification Number: the federal ID number for your business. Business credit is built under it.

I already have an LLC. Do I still need this?

Maybe not. On the free call we check what you already have and only plan what's missing.

Is this legal advice?

No. Entity setup guidance from Paolo The Source is educational and isn't legal advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.

No. There's no hard inquiry, and no obligation to do anything after the call.

What if I don't have a credit report?

Book anyway. A recent report from any bureau helps if you have one, but you don't need it to have the call.
